What We Do

Saudi FoodTech works across the food and agri-tech landscape to drive innovation, investment, and commercialization.

Our programs span startup acceleration, corporate innovation, research, and ecosystem mapping which is all designed to strengthen Saudi Arabia’s leadership in sustainable food systems.

Leadership

Mohammed Alquraishi is a Saudi entrepreneur, ecosystem strategist, and advocate for food system transformation. He brings over 15 years of experience across manufacturing, retail, food distribution, and technology,  alongside a deep-rooted understanding of Saudi Arabia’s agricultural landscape, shaped by his family background in farming.
After earning his engineering degree in the UK, Mohammed began his career with one of the region’s largest industrial packaging firms. He soon transitioned to founding and scaling multiple ventures, including a food distribution business serving more than 200 institutional clients, and an early e-commerce platform for water delivery.
His work evolved into technology-driven marketplace including a B2B and B2C supply chain solution connecting producers, wholesalers, and retailers. These ventures gave him a unique view into the structural barriers and commercial gaps facing Saudi’s food and agriculture sector which laid the foundation for Saudi FoodTech.
In 2023, he launched the country’s first dedicated food tech summit series, now known as Saudi FoodTech. Under his leadership, the platform has grown into a national ecosystem enabler, engaging over 1,000 stakeholders, building strategic partnerships with both the public and private sectors, and advancing the Kingdom’s food security goals.
Mohammed is also an active advisor to early-stage founders, a builder of cross-sector alliances, and a key voice in championing the adoption of technology in the food and agri-ecosystem.
