Mark is a co-founder and Managing Partner at Omnivore, a venture capital firm supporting visionary founders driving agrifood innovation, climate action, and rural transformation. Over the past decade, Omnivore has pioneered agritech and climate-smart venture investing in India, managing USD 295 million across two active venture funds.
Before founding Omnivore, Mark served as Executive Vice President (Strategy & Business Development) at Godrej Agrovet, one of India’s leading diversified agribusinesses, and held roles at Syngenta and PFM. He holds a BA (Honors) from the University of Pennsylvania and an MBA from Harvard Business School, where he graduated as a Baker Scholar.

As CEO of Arable, a Saudi-based agritech company, Lawrence is revolutionizing food security through cost-effective hydroponic solutions tailored to arid climates. Arable, part of the Sunbolah Program, recently raised $2.55 million in seed funding, with most of the funding coming from foreign investors. With a background as COO of a $100M fintech startup, he combines operational excellence with a passion for sustainability, delivering premium leafy greens while reducing water usage and carbon emissions. Under his leadership, Arable is scaling rapidly and contributing to Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030.
