Sunbolah FoodTech Incubator, Under MEWA, Launches Second Cohort
Riyadh, Saudi Arabia – March 18, 2025: Sunbolah FoodTech Incubator,
an initiative under the Ministry of Environment, Water, and Agriculture (MEWA), has announced the launch of its second cohort, following the success of its inaugural program.
The incubator supports early-stage FoodTech startups (Pre-MVP – Pre-Seed) by providing:
Mentorship from global and regional experts
Access to co-working spaces in a dynamic ecosystem
Assistance with licensing and regulatory approvals
Up to SAR 150,000 in grant funding for selected startups
“The overwhelming response to our first cohort confirmed the need for specialized FoodTech support in Saudi Arabia,” said Ali Alghamdi, Senior Manager of FoodTech at Sunbolah. “With the second edition, we are doubling down on our commitment to empowering local startups, helping them scale, and integrating them into the global FoodTech landscape.”
Applications are open until April 6, 2025, culminating in a showcase event connecting startups with investors, corporate partners, and industry leaders.
