Tanmiah Food Company Partners with Griffith Foods and Poulta Inc. to Advance Halal Innovation and Agri-Tech in Saudi Arabia

Riyadh, Saudi Arabia – 2025
Tanmiah Food Company, a leading provider of fresh poultry, processed proteins, and animal feed, has signed two transformative Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) with U.S.-based Griffith Foods and Poulta Inc. during the Saudi-U.S. Investment Forum in Riyadh.

These strategic partnerships aim to position Saudi Arabia as a global hub for halal innovation and smart agriculture, in line with the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 goals of food security, local manufacturing, and sustainable technology adoption.

The partnership with Griffith Foods will establish a dedicated production and R&D facility in Saudi Arabia focused on 100% halal-certified ingredients, including sauces, seasonings, and spice blends tailored to regional tastes, aiming to scale halal culinary innovation across the region.

“By integrating Griffith Foods’ century of innovation with Tanmiah’s regional footprint, we aim to empower food manufacturers across MENA to develop authentic, healthy, and scalable halal offerings,” said Brian Griffith, Chairman of Griffith Foods.

Tanmiah’s agreement with Poulta Inc., an agri-tech startup known for its cutting-edge digital infrastructure, will accelerate the full digitization of poultry operations by leveraging advanced technologies such as artificial intelligence for real-time decision-making, cloud computing for optimized data storage and integration, big data analytics to enhance animal welfare and resource efficiency, Internet of Things (IoT) for automated, sensor-based farm monitoring, and generative AI to provide predictive insights into production.

The agreement includes the launch of a joint venture to deliver digital transformation services to regional livestock businesses, alongside the creation of a new Agriculture Technology Research Center in Saudi Arabia.

“Innovation and sustainability are inseparable,” said Zulfiqar Hamadani, CEO of Tanmiah.
“Through these partnerships, we’re not just transforming our operations — we’re laying the foundation for a data-driven, resilient, and future-ready agri-food sector.”

These partnerships reflect Tanmiah’s commitment to Vision 2030 by supporting local production and food innovation. Chairman Amr Al-Dabbagh emphasized that the future of Saudi Arabia’s food sector lies in combining global innovation with local excellence.
